Safety
Cancun is safer than United States. Very little crime and what crime there is is petty. After dark, stay on main streets. Don’t wander on beaches late at night.

Resort Doctor is on call. In the case of emergency, Hospital Galenia is just a couple of miles away from the resort. They speak English at the reception and usually it’s not a long wait to see a doctor.

Crimes and Nudity
Topless and nudity is illegal although not enforced. All the same drugs are illegal in Mexico. One of the biggest crimes you could commit and go to jail for is public urination.

Street Vendors
General rule of thumb with street and beach vendors, always get at least a 30% discount.
