Who are Todd & Kristen?

A seemingly unlikely match; a stay at home Alberta mom who loves the mountains & a retired professional hockey player who "bleeds green" with his Saskatchewan roots. Yet for those who know us, it is a union that was destined to be.  Friends & confidente's from the moment we met, it felt like we went through a lifetime together before we were ever in a relationship together.  Similar pain, same big hearts & stubborn ways, same yearning for depth & understanding in our lives; we found it ALL in each other.  While one of us was sure they were "saving" the other, it was the other way around.  And then back again; a continous circle of empathy & love- when one was down, the other would bring them up.  We danced through the uncertainty of never having had a relationship on this level before & we stood up against our demons, inside & out. Together.

It is evident, to us, that without Todd, there is an emptiness in Kristen which cannot be filled by anyone or anything, & vice versa. We bring out the best in each other & fight together, through the worst.  We laugh. We cry. We fight.  We live.  We do REAL, every single day.
