Lee surprised Kate on 8th of July 2012. He proposed in a restaurant called Panoramic 34 in Liverpool. (Lee had taken part in a 50 mile bike ride that same day..... and struggled to stand after getting down on one knee....).

I could not have chosen a more beautiful engagement ring myself. I still look at it and think how well Lee did to design the ring, have it specially made, and manage to keep it secret until he proposed. I was/still am very impressed.
