Our Story
It's one of those awww how cute stories so get ready-
Our Mom's are best friends and have been for over 30 years- No we didn't grow up knowing eachother, since Nick is a few years younger than I am, we managed to not meet until we were in our 20's, but at that time we were both in other relationships and that was that.
As luck would have it Nick moved to Denver around the same time my Mom and her husband relocated to the area. Kathy put Nick in touch with my Mom and she acted as surrogate; feeding Nick and keeping him busy with chores. Ha Ha.
During a visit, Kathy and Gene(Nick's parents) happened to be there visiting too and in typical motherly fashion a meeting was set up- so we all got together to do some hiking and fishing. Of course there was an instant attraction, but living in 2 different states made it difficult at times. We managed through it for about a year and then I made the move to Denver, CO.
We were engaged on October 15th in Logan, UT in Cache Valley with a beautiful sunset in the mountains as our backdrop...
AND THE REST IS HISTORY!
Our Wedding
Nick and I were married on December 24, 2010 in Denver, Colorado in a civil ceremony.
We will have an offical wedding ceremony June 24th, 2011 in Puerta Vallarta Mexico at 6pm. Nick and I are treating this trip as our honeymoon as well so we plan to do this on our own, but hope that you can join us in Utah for our reception.
We are so looking forward to the beautiful beach ceremony and bare toes in the sand!
