Our Story

Doug contacted me in June 2008 on a singles web site. That didn't go very well. Doug was looking for a barbie doll type. Doug later contacted me in December 2009. We talked for 2 weeks then met on December 26, 2008 at my home in Astoria. My son Aaron, with a baby on his hip, answered the door and Chris and Aaron interagated Doug before we could go out. The boys and my niece Becky kept texting and calling me all night. They threatened to call the police when they didn't here back after a half an hour! We started dating long distance. Doug In Canby and I in Astoria. We spent all of our days off togther. In April 2009 Doug transferred to Astoria. In May 2009 we moved in together and started intergrating our families. My 5 boys and his 2 girls all get along well.

Our Wedding

Doug and I are planning our wedding for August 14, 2010. We want a simple back yard wedding with our family and closest friends. Uniting our 2 families as one. We will have a band, Fireworks over the river, food, wine and dancing

Our Reception

We are going to have a back yard picnic with close friends and family. I want an evening wedding so we can watch the fireworks over the river!

Travel Arrangements

We are traveling on Continental airlines to Cozumel on August 16-23, 2010. We are staying at the Cozumel Palace for 7 nights.
