Our Story

It all began on April 6, 2007, the magic day that Tatiana and Lamont were “matched”. She was a very busy woman working 6 nights per week and had absolutely no time for a social life and he was sick of the people he was running into in everyday life. They decided that they needed to meet a person with the same faith, dreams, ambitions and personality...where? eHarmony.com. (What?! Did they meet online!) Yes, they did! Took the free personality survey too! Well, three weeks of writing each other and answering questions about life ambitions, they finally decided to meet. It really showed how deep their bond became considering that they live an hour and forty-five minutes from each other, Orlando to St. Petersburg.


The first date was set on the night of April 29th, 2007 at Universal Studios for the traditional dinner and a movie. (In this case, movie and a dinner) “Meet the Robinson's” was the matinée followed by dinner at Pat O'Brian's at CityWalk. The evening was very nice considering that Tatiana was falling asleep in the movie due to work exhaustion...or it could be that the movie was boring?...maybe it was Lamont?..nah!! When the movie ended, she started taking pictures, this was the point where Lamont had a small sampling what was to become of the rest of his life, Tatiana's obsession with taking pictures of everything she is around. Well, the night finally ended with a warm and fuzzy feeling in both their hearts as they drove back to their places of residence.


The second date was followed the very next weekend where it was decided that they were comfortable enough with each other to move on from eHarmony's umbilical cord. It took many trips to Orlando and St. Petersburg in the next two years to get to know each other's families and keep this relationship from crumbling. Nothing could keep these two apart as their love for one another was ever growing.


Lamont and Tatiana have fun being around each other, whether it be just chilling out at the apartment watching movies or getting on a flight to some city they have never been before. Their first trip together was to Las Vegas in October 2007, then they spent New Years 2008 in the snow of Blowing Rock, NC, cruised to Bahamas in July of the same year and 3 months later they relaxed in Puerta Plata, Dominican Republic. Their most recent trip and undoubtedly the most remembered one, was in our nation's capital, Washington D.C. This is where Lamont rocked Tatiana's world by asking her to be his wife in a crowd of people in front of the north lawn of the White House...what a beautiful moment!!!


Lamont and Tatiana have chosen to have their wedding in the Caribbean to allow friends and family from different parts of the world to be with them in the most important moment of their lives. They wish that you will join them there to celebrate their love and commitment for now and forever.
