Matt and Ashley originally met through our friend Megan Blake, who was a former teammate of Ashley's on the OSU volleyball team. He had come to numerous matches to watch the girls play. However, the true meeting place was a history class that we both had during Winter quarter 2006 at The Ohio State University. Ever since then we have been inseparable, and fell in love. We had been dating about a year in a half when Matt asked Ashley's dad if he could marry her. Matt proposed in front of Ashley's family right before Thanksgiving dinner. It was definitly a surprise!!
Our plans for the future consist of Ashley working as a sports massage therapist. Matt graduated from The Ohio State University in December 2008 and will then be working towards his teachers certificate.

Matt and Ashley will be married in Allenton, Wisconsin at a small Lutheran church, Zion Evangelical Lutheran church, that Ashley's family has years of tradition in. The church is about 1 hour north of Milwaukee, WI. The ceremony will begin at 2:00 pm (central time).

The reception will be held at the Camelot Golf Course in Lomira, Wisconsin, which is about 15 minutes north of Allenton where the ceremony took place.
Cocktails begin at 4:30 pm
Dinner at 6:00 pm
