We first met working at Toys R Us in Greenville, NC in 2002. At the time I (Kristin) was in a relationship but Jason noticed me. Jasons career at Toys R Us was short lived while I went on to work there until July of 2006. A few months after Jason left Toys R Us we ran into each other out in downtown Greenville one night. We talked and I gave Jason my number but told him I was leaving to visit my family in Connecticut that weekend. Two weeks later, after I returned, we ran into each other again in downtown Greenville. He called me shortly thereafter and we went on our first date on July 11th 2002 to the Outback Steakhouse. We were pretty much inseperable from that point on. For our one year anniversary and my birthday which was fifteen days later Jason gave me Lexi, our boxer, who is now 5 years old. Our "family" was complete. Fast forward to 2007... Jason orders my engagement ring from a jeweler in Connecticut right up the road from where I was born. My grandmother had it shipped to him and it arrived on July 12th 2007. One day past our five year anniversary. Jason has never been good at waiting when it comes to suprises. He couldn't stand it! I remember walking into the house and in my favorite brown chair where I often unwind and watch T.V. at the end of the work day was a little box with a big bow on it. At the time I was on the phone with my friend. I said to her "There's a box on my chair" to which she replied "What do you mean?" I told her I had to go and would call her later. She knew what was coming! I yelled for Jason and asked him what the box was all about. I was shaking. I sat on the couch and he took the box, got down on one knee... and the rest is history!
