It seems like just yesterday that Jared and I meet for the first time. He was the best looking guy in the bar. We laughed, danced, and had a really early breakfast at denny's, the following day was superbowl sunday we went to a party together at his friends house and have been together everyday since then.....who would of knew that four years later we would be on our way to mexico to get married.
We love each other so much! We are each others best friends. We laugh together, cry together and most important we grow together. Since the day I met him I couldn't picture my life without him or Connor. For those of you who don't know who Connor is, he is my soon to be step son. We are going to be united as a family and Connor couldn't be more excited to finally have me in his life as his official Mom!
Some people don't understand our relationship or how it works but as I said we are each other's best friends and we get each other even if everyone else doesn't! We can't wait to finally start the rest of our lives together as husband, wife, and child.
We have been engaged for a little over a year now and it has taken us forever to decide what we wanted to do for our wedding. Jared's always wanted to get married on the beach and I just wanted my fairytale wedding......that's why we choose to have a destination wedding at the Moon Palace & Resort in Mexico! Beautiful getaway! We decided on this because it seemed to fit into the budget the best and it's not just our wedding.... it's a vacation and a celebration that everyone could use to get away from life for a while. Unfortnately we understand that this trip is not possible for everyone that we have invited. So for those who can't afford the vacation to Mexico or can't get the time of work we are planning to have a wedding reception durning the summer of 2009. We are still working out some of the planning and we will send out invitations to that once everything is in order. We hope that you will be able to attend our pig roast reception next summer and celebrate our wedding with us then!
We have been working with a travel agent who has been planning our wedding with us over the past several months. We will be leaving for Mexico on Dec. 30, 2008 and returning Jan 06, 2009. The wedding will be held on Jan 03, 2009.
