Thankfully, we will by flying out of Cherry Capitol Airport in Traverse City, Michigan. We're schedule to leave at 06:55 on October 6th, and arrive at 03:05pm in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. We will return to Traverse City on October 10th at 08:45pm. Hopefully we will have lots of sunshine and warm weather.

Puerto Vallarta is located on the Pacific ocean side of Mexico. Our reason for choosing this destination is the time of year and desire to do some deep sea fishing. Marlin and sailfish run high in this area during October and this area is less likely to be hit by hurricanes since that season runs from August to November. The Sierra Madres run down to the beach in some areas, so they act as a natural barrier to tropical storms. The resort we have chosen is an all-inclusive resort located in Nuevo Vallarta on Banderas Bay, which is a small fishing village approximately 20 minutes north of Puerto Vallarta. We were told through a travel agent that stayed at the resort, that it is extremely nice, you could eat off the floor, and the beach is beautiful. We are hoping to have a wonderful time deep sea fishing, relaxing, and just enjoying our first few nights together as husband and wife.
