We met through friends. It wasn't a blind date, but more like the buddy system at its best. A few of his friends and a few of my friends were hanging out together. One day, Josh went to his friend’s house and Shante happened to be there. In the midst of conversation they realized that they were originally from close to the same area. That sparked a conversation that led to exchange of numbers. Almost 4 years later that conversation has blossomed into something beautiful that is now leading to the exchange of wedding vows.

Our wedding ceremony will take place at half past three in the afternoon at Canaan Baptist Church. Canaan Baptist Church is currently located inside of The Ursuline Academy Performing Arts Center in Wilmington Delaware.

Immediately after the wedding ceremony we will be releasing doves outside of the church. Although this will not take very long, it may be very cold outside. Please bring the appropriate attire to stand outside for 5-10 minutes.
