Once upon a time, I asked God for the woman that was for me, who was a friend first, who could love me for me, and love only me. In lieu of my past, I concluded the prayer with God if I already know her please make her over again; then she walked by. I (Enjoli) spent a lot of time seeking God’s purpose for me and questioned if I would ever be a mother and a wife. I wanted to marry someone who loved God more than he loved me, respected me, and who would lead our family as God led him; then he approached me. Little did we know, this love would be forever. We got what we prayed for and received a blessing neither of us were looking for. We exemplify Proverbs 18:22. I found my wife; we found favor. March 22nd begins our new lives together as we love each other as gifts from God.
Our wedding will take place at our church, Love and Grace Christian Fellowship Church at 1pm. It is only befitting that we would share our day in the traditional fashion and be married in the church. Bishop Clifton Edwards, Sr, the grooms grandfather, is our officiate. It is a small ceremony with a wedding party of 14, one flower girl, and two ring bearers. The attire is dressy casual, so no need to dust off your fur; but please leave your jeans at home. We expect everything to be absolutely amazing! More than anything, we can't wait to make our committment to God and have the people we love there to witness it. The wedding colors are lilac, silver, and white. Immediately following the wedding, we will be taking our pictures and our guests can head to the reception.
The reception is taking place at the Best Western Hotel located at 44055 N. Sierra Hwy. in the city of Lancaster. Our friends, families, and loved ones will be together for hours celebrating God's granting of our union. There will be singing, dancing, eating, and enjoying each other's company. Although this is our day, we want everyone to leave the reception with the feeling that they had a good time and were blessed by our time spent together. There would be no us without God and the people He has placed in our lives. Therefore, to a large degree, this is your day as much as it is ours. Ladies bring comfortable shoes and fellas come ready to find your wife; is you haven't already. We can't wait to see you there.
For those of you traveling from far away, it may be in your best interest to reserve a room so that you don't have to drive or fly back home as soon as the reception ends. Within a block of the reception hall you can find The Antelope Valley inn, The Desert Inn, and The Best Western Hotel; all three are located in Lancaster, CA and can be contacted directly regarding rates and room availability. For people in the wedding party, you're going to want to get a room beginning Friday afternoon because you have to be in town for the wedding rehearsal! The price range for hotels is anywhere from $140-$300 depending on room size, number of occupants, and the hotel itself. If you still need info. feel free to contact either of us directly.
