We are so excited to have our family and friends with us when we tie the knot in Cozumel, Mexico on May 28, 2016. We have chosen an amazing resort for the festivities and we are confident that it will provide the best value and experience for us and our guests. Cozumel is an island located in the Mexican Caribbean. It's world famous for its amazing diving and snorkeling due to its gorgeous coral reefs (second largest in the world!), abundance of tropical fish, and unusually clear waters. If you are interested in history, the island is also home to Mayan ruins. Cozumel has a well-earned reputation of being safe for tourists, and the locals are known to be extremely friendly and kind. Most of them speak English, and many merchants accept US currency. For those that are interested in a day trip to the mainland, ferry boats can whisk you to Playa del Carmen in about 35 minutes. From there, you can travel by bus to other destinations such as Cancun and Tulum.

The resort we will all be staying at is Cozumel Palace. It is an all inclusive resort, and the room prices listed on our wedding group link are per person. The cost includes the room itself, as well as all food, alcohol, 24 hour room service, taxes and gratuities. In addition, there is a complimentary resort credit that can be used for activities. Cozumel has it's own airport with many direct flights. The resort provided transportation to and from the airport. This must be scheduled in advance. You can also choose to fly into Cancun. From there you would need to take a bus to Playa del Carmen and then a ferry to the island. If you choose this option, you will be responsible for setting up your own transportation.

We will be arriving on May 25 in order to finalize the wedding details. We ask that our wedding party arrives by May 26 to help out with any last minute projects and to attend our bachelor/bachelorette parties. Other guests who wish to attend the parties should also arrive by the 26th, otherwise the 27th is fine. The wedding itself will be May 28 at 6pm.
