Bride

We were introduced through our close friends Nicole Gray and Mark Graston. I was asked to tag along on a date to the movies because Tim was going to be their chauffeur for the night and Nicole didn't want him to be the awkward third wheel. In my mind, this was by no means a date; I was simply helping out a friend and taking one for the team!

When I got into the car, Cash Money music was blasting! I'm sure I gave Nicole the "what have you gotten me into?" face. Lucky for me, any notions I had about my "date" talking too much or bothering me were squashed; this guy may have said two words to me the whole night! However, he did plenty of talking on the phone after he begged and pleaded Nicole for my number....thanks alot Nicole....

This all started with Mark and his beat up car "The Bucket". After years of hard living the The Bucket finally died. So of course Mark (as usual) can not spend one weekend in the house decided that I should drive, and his girlfriend Nicole would bring along a friend. I figured I would just play wingman and roll the dice on this more or less bind date. It didn't hurt that I had an inside source that told me Michelle was cute. I just figured young and cute, how could i lose.

Fast Forward......

So Mark, Nicole and I pull up to Michelle's house.  Michelle comes out and I it's so dark I can't even really see her.  So she hops in the back of my car and we were briefly introduced.  Okay, she was cute!  The whole ride there you know I had to listen to cash money records, I mean they did take over since  "99 and the 2000".  Plus what exactly is good blind date music.

Walking into the movies I finally got to see the total package.  Hmmmmm  let's just say I was impressed.  So I needed a plan.  Step 1. Don't blow this, don't talk yourself into a hole. Never even got past step one that night.  Mesed around and barely said a word.  Politely asked for some candy at one point. Movie ended and I dropped her off. Lame right? Guess what, WINNING STRATEGY!  No impression is better than a bad impression #ProTip.  That night i asked Mark ONCE to ask Nicole if I could call Michelle.  Obviously the answer was yes. I mean I did drive a black Dodge Intrepid, even had tinted windows.  And that's the introduction to my favorite love story!
