Bride

Tony and I have been attending St. Lorenzo Catholic church since we were kids but we did not officially meet until 2009. Tony was coaching football at Walnut High School while I used the track for my own personal use. After months of purposely running the track at a certain time to see him, we finally exchanged numbers. In 2011,he asked to be my boyfriend. Then on January 5, 2013 I had a life changing event of a cardiac arrest at 24 hour fitness. I was sent to Pomona Valley Hospital where I stayed at the ICU for several days. From then on, I knew he was the one because he never left my side.

I would see Jessica running the track while I coached football for Walnut High School.  She would finish before practice was over so I never had a chance to talk to her. She never had specific days she ran but she always ran around the same time I was there. So when football was over, I started running around the times I used to see her there. The funny thing is, I didn't like running on that track, but for a chance to see her there I would. Finally I saw her there. I am in the middle of my workout and thought, "Finally! she showed up." I was going to finish my workout and talk to her.  Well, I was wrong about that.  She walked up to me and said, "Hi don't you go to my church?" That began our wonderful story.  The first time I talked to her on the phone, I knew she was special and I had fallen hard for her.  But then we hit a bump in the road. She stopped returnng my calls. I don't know what happened. I tried calling plenty of times but nothing. I never gave up calling her. I would randomly text her in hopes she would return my call. When I said randomly... it was random. It would be months between text messages. Years went by until finally I wore her down and she returned my text. I was so surprised she responded, that I didn't know what to say. I probably sounded like an idiot but who cares she was finally talking to me. Over the few next days of texting we finally had our first date. Well it wasn't actually a date, we studied together. Now I wanted to impress her so I didn't come over in sweats or gym clothes. I dressed up, in fact this was the best i had ever dressed to study. I put on a collar shirt and some jeans. When I showed up to her house, she had cheetah pajamas pants and a sweater on. I thought WOW this is awesome! Even in PJ's she is gorgeous. To be honest, I didn't really want to study nor did I have to, but I wanted to spend time with her. In my head I thought, maybe I could talk her out of studying and we would go see a movie but that didn't happen. She actually had a midterm to study for. I must say though, studying there was even better than going to the movies because that night we connected and the rest was history.  We were inseperable from that point on. I knew she was the one from our first phone call and I waited until she gave me the opportnity to prove to her that I was the one for her.
