Let’s see... I met Candace my freshman year at Valdosta State. We were assigned as roommates, and I didn't know what would become of our relationship... From the outside we were totally different people LOL. Somehow, none of that mattered and she quickly became my best friend!! I can't wait to be a part of the union between her and Tim!

I don't remember exactly how Candace and I became close. We met in 2007 but she was just always "Tip's friend from Valdosta." And then one day about three or four years go, I looked up and realized that we were texting, on the phone, or just hanging out by ourselves. We didn't need Tip or any of the other Valdosta crew as a "buffer" for us to hang out. She went from "Tip's friend Candace" to "my friend Candace" and I was so happy to be able to claim her as MY friend.

Candace is one of those people that just lights up a room! She speaks and everyone listens because they know what she thinks and feels is important. I've always admired how bold and fearless Candace is! People say that your friends are a reflection of who you are but with Candace she's a reflection of who I want to one day be! I'm so blessed that she chose me to stand up there with her on the most important day of her life so far. I pray God continues to bless Candace and Tim for the rest of their lives!

Candace and I met back in 2006 at Valdosta State University. We were both a part of the Emerging Leaders Organization, and would soon both become nursing majors and line sisters in the most illustrious service organization, Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated. From day one, we have had a common love for enjoying life and making a difference. And till this day, we continue to do just that while supporting each other and creating memories that we will cherish for a lifetime. I love you Candace, and have had the pleasure of watching you bloom into such a beautiful, well-deserving, and honorable woman!! I am ecstatic that you chose me to share such a beautiful milestone in your life! No matter how near or far we are, you can always count on me to have your best interest at heart, keep it authentic, and always be in your corner!!! Tim is smart man and most importantly patient and true. He had the strength to see thru your shield and saw the beautiful gem that lay hidden. You both are so well deserving of each other and I look forward to the I-DOs!!!! Well that's enough for now, but just know I love you girl!!!! Now let’s TURN UP!!!

Looking back in retrospect, I honestly cannot even tell you when Candace and I actually met...perhaps I was four years old and she was around two years of age. Our Grandmothers lived directly across the street from one another and because of the bond they shared as neighbors and friends, out of their loving foundation emerged two unique young girls bound together in times of joy, tears and most of all love. Candace and I became the very best of friends at a very young age playing together, learning together and growing together. Since our remarkable encounter in youth, we have grown to become not only friends but family. Although we have spent time apart as we both embarked on individual journeys in life, the foundation which was initially laid has always been there enabling us to support one another with love, kindness, strength and fortitude. So no, I don't actually remember meeting Candace because the bond in Sisterhood we share doesn't just merely exist, it was predestined. God has simply blessed me with the sister I have always longed for. And for that, I am truly grateful!

Not quite sure how to word it but I credit Tim for the human being I have become. He has taught me friendship, compassion, and brotherhood! I remember meeting Tim and me not liking him because of the type of person I used to be. But over the years, our friendship has developed into a lasting bond!

I met Tim when he had hair and only ate pizza, fries, and waffles now this new guy I don't know who he is but I'm extremely proud of him!

I met Tim as a member of the greatest Fraternity known to man, Phi Beta Sigma. We did not hangout much during the first few years in Sigma but in 09' everything changed. I had gone through a rough patch in life and he became one of my closest friends during that period. I found out we had a lot in common then I'd imagine and till this day I can't get rid of him lol. So I have a brother for life. It's an honor to be a groomsmen in what will surely be one of the best days of your life!

Hopper Hall. The original. It seems so long ago. But Tim has been one of my best friends since meeting him. When Tim, Damien, and I became roommates I found a true brother in them both. Through the rough times, good times, and funny times, I couldn't have asked for a better brother and friend. I know if needed, we will always be there for one another, especially to congratulate and uplift! I've seen Tim grow into someone people can look to as a role model and inspiration. I'm happy for my brother that he's taken this great leap! You can definitely tell he is happy!!

Timothy and I met in college playing basketball. He was a real cool laid back guy like myself, so me and his group of friends immediately clicked. We had the same major, Political Science, and have a lot of classes together. He was a groomsmen in my wedding, and I am glad that I can return this act to him. To this day we still share our goals and aspirations with each other, and I'm blessed to know him and Candace as friends.
