When I realized that I would ask Valerie to be my wife... There was just one problem. I hadn't met her father.

So, I reached out to him without Valerie knowing (or so I thought), and I asked him if I could fly up to Virginia to take him and Valerie's mother out to dinner to get to know them. He agreed, so off I went to Norfolk, Viriginia on another adventure.

After dinner, we were at Valerie's parents home visiting. That is when I asked Mr. Moss for his Blessing to ask Valerie to marry me. Thankfully, he said yes to my request!!

I then started planning the proposal:) While my original plan changed a few times, I settled on a video that my friend helped me put together.

Six months to the day after we met, I proposed to Valerie after I played the video for her. SHE SAID YES!!
