Caleb was actually able to surprise Val when he popped the question. He asked her parents for their blessing during Thanksgiving 2019. He planned an entire New Year's Eve Party celebration with all of their closest friends at a lovely balcony room at the Watergate Hotel. He waited until almost midnight and decided to make his speech. Of course Val said yes, but to this day still blames her Bridesmaid, Nissa, for not taking the beer out of her hand or hinting for her to do her nails!
