A shout out to...

 

...Hi-speed internet.  It use to take AOL 2.0 5 minutes to let us know that nobody loves us.  But now it only takes 5 seconds to find out we have no mail.

 

...the light switch.  The light bulb has always taken all the attention, but it would be nothing without the light switch.  We would have to go get the ladder and climb it to unscrew the light bulb every time we left a room if it weren't for you, light switch.  We thank you for that.

 

...toys at the bottom of a cereal box.  What ever happened to those?  My cereal just doesn't taste as good anymore.

 

...the alphabet.  We just think it's pretty cool.

 

...Coors for letting us know when our beer is cold enough to drink.  

 

...the garbage disposal.  You don't realize how awesome they are until you live in a world where you have to scoop up the wet, leftovers clogging the drain.

...Speaking of garbage disposals, dishwashers are also really neat! 

 

...Clint Eastwood and Betty White for showing us that old can be cool.
