In the spring of 2007 we met on the front porch of Mrs. Ola Mae Walker's home, Jerome's grandmother. As we began conversating, and as time passed on, we both realized the connection that neither of us had ever felt before. Despite our past short falls and our differences, we have a bond and love that will last forever.
On September 9, 2009, when he came home from work, he had this look on his face, and my words to him were "What's wrong Sweetheart?" Me, always wanting to fix situations and circumstances. He responded, "There is nothing wrong. I just want you to know that you have made me the happiest man in the world. I know I am not a traditional man, but I do know that I love you with every being in me. I do not want to live my life without you. Will you marry me?!" Whew!!!
Today, he is my life as I am his. God has graced us with each others love, and for that we are grateful. We end this message with one ofJerome's favorite sayings "It is clearly obvious we belong together."
We are two people madly in love and looking forward to sharing our special day with our family and friends. |
