Nick and Kylie met in 2009 when they both moved to Southern California to join the 'Young Americans'. Kylie, 18, and Nick, 21, became friends almost immediately. They shared a passion for dance, performance and enjoying life. After a year of friendship and touring Germany together, Nick and Kylie became inseparable, they were best friends. September 10, 2010 Kylie was getting ready to leave for a tour in Europe and Nick was leaving for a US/Canada Tour. Nick said he had to 'Make her his' before they spent three months so far apart. They promised each other their relationship would be based on communication and honesty. 

Those three months apart were incredibly poetic. They fell in love sending emails to each other from across the ocean. When they were reunited it was like they knew each other better than before. They continued their 'Young American' Career together traveling to the UK and Japan both together and separately. As well as another tour together in the states and a dinner theater in upper Michigan in the summer of 2012. After three and a half years traveling, teaching and learning with the YA's it was time to look for work. 

The two of them auditioned alongside their best friend Rob for a position as a dancer on a cruise ship. A dream came true and the three of them were cast on the same ship traveling to Alaska and Hawaii. The eight months onboard the Celebrity Century was amazing and unforgettable. Nick and Kylie lived in a tiny crew cabin together the entire contract. They knew if they could live in that small of a space together, they were meant for each other. 

On November 13, 2013 Nick proposed to Kylie in Maui, Hawaii. She said YES!
