It was late evening in Aug. 2010. Rene was home for R&R from Afganistain. He was suppose to wait and propose at dinner later that week, infront of my parents, brothers and sister in laws. Well apparently he was too excited. As we were leaving my parents house that evening to head back to our apartment. I hear Fabian say now dad, I glanced back and Rene just popped the question while I am sitting in our car in my parents driveway. Fabian handed Rene the ring and I was beyond excited!!! I looked at him and Fabian and begin to cry (OF COURSE). I then ran inside to tell my mom! Her response was priceless WHAT..... He was suppose to do it infront of everyone hahahha. I was shocked that she even knew it was going to happen. My mom can't hide anything from me. We went home and I was still so excited and overjoyed.
