In the summer of 2011 Joe and Cortney were at a mutual friends party! Cortney had never spoken to Joe before and Joe was....well you could say a little more quiet than Cortney!! At that time Joe had a blue mustang (Cortney thought was such a girl car). When Joe went out to his car Cortney followed and asked him for "a ride" in his car!! Well thats where it all started!!! Joe says that Cortney attacked him that night because she wanted him!!! (Cortney says otherwise). After that night Cortney and Joe started talking more and hanging out. They say that was the funnest summer either of them have ever had! From parties to jet skies, and bonfires they grew pretty close!! They soon started dating for about two months. Torwards the end of the summer they broke up and both went their seperate ways. They were both in other relationships for about two years. In Feb of 2013 they both happen to be single again;) One day Cortney got a message from Joe which was just small talk. At the end of Febuary Cortney moved to Chicago for Mortuary College. Cortney and Joe continued to talk and be friends. Everytime Cortney would go back to Iowa for the weekend her and Joe would hangout and spend time together. Around May of 2014 Joe and Cortney started dating!!!! After it became official Cortney would go to Iowa as often as she could!!! The first weekend in Sep that year Joe drove to Chicago to spend the weekend with Cortney!!! About four weeks later Joe got a phone call that Cortney was pregnant!!! They were both excited but scared because they had alot on the line with Cortney being in Chicago. At the end of Sep. they went to Vegas with friends and had the chance to decide what they needed and wanted to do after finding out their big news! The first week of October they decided that Cortney would move back to Iowa with Joe. It was a hard transition for Cortney because she had to give up her dream for now. Cortney would never take it back! Sweet Elsie was all worth it! And now Joe and Cortney have a sweet baby boy on the way (which they tried for to have two babies before they got married) and are going to be married in NOVEMBER!!!! They are very blessed and thankful and would not trade any of it for the world!!!
