Hola, 

So the wedding is a little over 2 months out, and I have a few updates for everyone:

1.) Room Credits - Each room has an allowed amount of "credits". These credits can go to many different things, including covering certain excursions, spa services (services only, no products), golf green fees, tequila packages...etc. The amount of credits awarded per room depends on the number of nights you're staying. I have a list of credits per nights as well as the lists of all excursions covered by the credits, which I will be sending out to everyone roughly 30 days before it's time to go. That way, you can determine how many credits you have and what you want to spend them on. This will also help with booking excursions early (which I would recommend that way they don't fill up by the time we get there). 

2.) Golf Outing - There is a golf outing booked for Thursday, May 14th @ 11:00 am. If you would like to be a part of this group, please email me (chelsey.williams29@gmail.com) and we will make sure your name is on the reservation list. 

3.) Spa Outing - While the guys are going golfing on Thursday, there is also a scheduled spa day for Thursday, May 14th. If you would like to be a part of this group, please email me and I'll make sure to get your name down. If you are not going to be in Cancun by this time and can't make it, that's ok! I highly doubt that will be the only time we go to the spa :) 

4.) Welcome Dinner - Instead of the traditional rehearsal dinner, we are going to have a welcome dinner instead. Every single guest is invited to this dinner. It will be from 7-9 pm on Friday, May 15th at the Bugambilias Terrace (map will be provided upon arrival in Mexico). 

5.) Confirmation Numbers - We are needing to keep a charter of every room booked, the travel dates, and confirmation numbers to give to the resort. We are trying to keep all guests as close as possible, and this is a way to let the resort know who all is with us and who isn't. If I haven't already talked to you, could you please email me your confirmation number, names of everyone staying in your room, and travel dates.

 So the invitations have officially gone out!! Even if you've already told me in person you'll be there, please RSVP anyways that way we have the most accurate head count.

As far as travel goes, Scotty and I are going down to Mexico on Wednesday May 13th on United Airlines UA1016 leaving Houston Intercontinental at 11:45 am.

 It's coming up pretty soon!!

 I just wanted to let everyone know that airfare is now available for that weekend as well. When you book with the travel agent, you have the option of booking both your resort stay + airfare at the same time, or if you have a more preferred method of airfare (such as points or something) then you can book only the resort stay and do airfare on your own.

So by now everyone should have their save the dates! We have the group set up with our travel agent, so people can begin booking their rooms anytime they wish from here on out. Just remember to say you are with the Williams/Armstrong wedding to receive the group discount! As we get closer to the actual day, we'll begin more planning regarding the private events we'll be hosting that weekend, so we'll send all of that information out a few days/weeks before we head to Mexico to make sure everyone knows! 

Oh, one last thing. I would HIGHLY suggest to everyone to make sure they book travel's insurance. It can be through the travel agent, or through a third party company (if you find an option cheaper than JJ offers). Heaven only knows what kind of things could go wrong, so I'd definitely reccomend everyone getting it.

Save the dates will be going out within the next two weeks. As soon as you receive your invitation, you can begin working with the travel agent on booking your rooms. Your reservation is not guaranteed until your deposit is paid. Once you have reserved your stay, please RSVP on the RSVP page so we have an accurate headcount of everyone coming.
