Late August 2014, Ashley and Dustin met on eHarmony (yes, this new generation. lol). Dustin invited Ashley out for a first date, which she was happy to accept due their amazing conversations on the phone. After talking over a great dinner at Cabana spanish restaurant in Forest Hills, NY, Ashley and Dustin became more intrigued with each other. During general conversation over dinner, Ashley mentioned her birthday was the following week. Dustin took the initiative to ask Ashley on a second date on her birthday.  Ashley was ectatic because she liked Dustin and was excited for a second date.  

For their second date, Dustin surprised Ashley with a wonderful dinner at Nobu japanese restaurant and ended the night on a rooftop lounge overlooking NYC enjoying some cocktails.  Ever since that night, Ashley and Dustin knew they were meant for each other.  

One year ago while attending Ashley's friend and co-worker's, Yan's wedding. Ashley caught the bouquet and Dustin caught the garter.  According to Yan's husband, Kevin, Dustin fought hard for that garter.  And one year later, Ashley and Dustin are planning their wedding. 

On August 31, 2015, Dustin and Ashley packed up everything and decided to start a life as Texanites.  Since then, they have been enjoying the warm weather that Texas has to offer, along with their lovely kittens, Chloe and Sunkist.
