Shawn and Amy went on a vacation to Florida March of 2014. After Shawn asked for Amy's dad's approval, Shawn planned a day at Fort Myers Beach. They walked in the sand, played in the water, ate ice cream, then at the end of our day at the beach Shawn tried to hand the ring to their son Cylus and he refused to take it so Shawn got down on one knee and held his hand out with the most beautiful ring. Amy cried, then happily accepted just before calling everybody she knew to tell them about their new engagement.
