My college roomate was creating her safe haven, by making a collage, of family and friends to reflect on at her new home away from home. 

We sat, talked and giggled as I looked through her pictures and inquisitively asked who was whom.  Suddenly, I ran across a picture of a strickingly handsome young man.  "Who is this?", I questioned.  My roommate went on to respond, "That's my 'brother'.  He will be up to visit".  I garishly responded "He is sooo cute!!! He's going to be my boyfriend". 

Months went by and my roomate and I grew closer as friends, laughing and cockling as school girls do.  It was a Saturday evening and I was returning to the dorm room from my parent's home with an artillery of groceries and  freshly washed and folded laundry.  Struggling, I stammered through the door only to see THE CUTE GUY IN THE PICTURE SITTING IN MY DORM ROOM.  I was so flustered, I kept my head down, shot a quick hello and made a dash to my room.  He offered to assist but I was suddenly shy and without words.

Although I had plans for the evening, I put on my best "Ferris Bueller" disguised voice and cancelled all plans so that i could go out with my roommate and her friends.  The night was filled with fun and laughter.  Tittrous and I talked and laughed the entire evening and this would soon become indicative of future phone calls and outings as we began to get to know one another.  We began to date more seriously and later entered into an exclusive relationship.  After three years, we came to a crossroads as to the direction of our future endeavors.  We amicably decided to split yet remained friends, still speaking on occasion.

As the old addage states, "If you love something, set it free.  If it returns, it's yours forever."

WELCOME TO FOREVER.

We will be married, in an intimate ceremony, in Cancun, Mexico on April 6, 2013.  We are so excited and thankful for our family and friends who will be joining us to share in this blessed event.  While many will be present, we have many loved ones who will be unable to attend.  We will hold you all in our hearts, minds, and spirit.  

We are so blessed and thankful to have such a wonderful network of family, colleagues, and friends.  You have supported our "budding" family with encouraging words, kind and selfless acts, and shared wisdom with either one or both of us during our courtship.

And while April 6, 2013 marks a climatic milestone in our lives that we will not soon forget, we know that this journey of unconditional love, trust, honor, faith, respect, and friendship has only just begun. Please continue to pray with us and for us.
