Our Story

“Once in a Blue Moon”

What are the chances that two Jr. High School classmates, who live 3000 miles apart from each other, would re-connect 30 years later and fall in love?

Rich (Hawaii) and Lennie (SF Bay Area) found each other on Facebook, and knew almost instantly that this was meant to be. Rich proposed to Lennie on an evening stroll by the beach, under a “blue moon” on New Year’s Eve in Kona, Hawaii.

Our Wedding

Our ceremony will be romantic and elegant, just like a page out of a fairy tale. We will exchange wedding vows surrounded by our family and closest friends at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Foster City. With Lennie and I writing our own vows, there will not be a dry eye in the crowd.

Our Reception

After the romantic wedding ceremony, appetizers and cocktails will be served in the foyer. We will then guide our guests into the Crowne Plaza's Grand Ballroom for the Reception. A delicious meal, tasty cocktails and dancing will follow. Not to be missed is the Wedding Cake, which you will see fits into our "fairy tale theme" quite nicely. And who knows, there may be a few surprises during the reception as well.... We are really excited to have you join us and celebrate our new lives as Mr. & Mrs. Mendoza.
