Things to consider:

Dress Code (Beach Formal):

Guys, you should consider wearing linen pants and a linen button down shirt.  If you want to wear a suit, wear something lightweight like cotton or a linen suit that is loose fitting and comfortable while still remaining semi-formal.

    • Short/long sleeve button down dress shirt (cotton, linen), no ties required, and pants (e.g., linen or khakis) and loafers.

    • Please no shorts and no open toe footwear (e.g., flip flops, sandals, etc.)

Ladies, light fabrics that do not cling to the body are best.  Materials like linen, chiffon, organza, and even cotton blends or lace are light but can still look luxurious. There is nothing worse than sweat marks on the back and front of a gown.

    • Sundress with heels or flat sandals.

    • Please no flip flops

Booking Rooms:

  • We have blocked out rooms at the resort so please book through this link at your earliest convenience:https://www3.palaceresorts.com/NET/Formularios/Groups.aspx?gc=WNGBP&sb=BODA&ag=WNGBP

  • The room block is specially reserved for the private event at the all-inclusive resort. Please do not book your rooms using any other website or channels as there will be additional fees applied to us as well as a guest pass that you will need to purchase to enter the resort and to partake in the private event. There's also a limit as to how many guest passes the resort will have available based on the occupancy at the resort and the number of people attending the private event.

  • We suggest to book for at least 3 nights. This will give you time to settle in, enjoy the resort's amenities, partake in the private event. Maybe arrive on Thursday and leave on Sunday? Of course you're more than welcome to stay longer. We will be arriving on Wednesday, 11/15 and leaving on Monday, 11/20.

  • Please book your rooms by the end of August. We will circle back with everyone around that time to confirm.

  • And of course remember to make this a vacation for yourself as well and not just having to go to your loving friend's big day! The resort is great, food is delicious, rooms are nicely designed (all with balcony and Jacuzzi) and the beach is spectacular with the beautiful crystal blue water.

Flights:

  • We suggest to start monitoring the flights . I've been on Aeromexico, Delta, Jet Blue and American Airlines and they are all about the same to me so there's no particular airline we suggest. I think it just depends on the actual model of the plane you sit in and how old/new it is, which will define the services offered (e.g., movies, tv screen size, music channels, seat size, etc.)

  • Once you booked your flight, please share with us the dates and times you'll be arriving and leaving. Of course this is optional. Structure of the information to share with us are as follows:

  • Arrival Date and Time: _____

    • Airline: _____

    • Flight Number: _____

  • Departure Date and Time: _____

    • Airline: _____

    • Flight Number: _____

Please also remember that we do not expect or want a wedding gift.

We are truly grateful and blessed to be surrounded by such great friends,

Your presence with us on our special day is more than we can ask for.
