Bride

Hi, I am Tammy Lou Jenkins, I grew up in Luray, VA. I am a daughter of Bill and Sylvia Jenkins.  I have two siblings, my twin sister, Amy Chu and my younger brother, Davy Jenkins, all of my family are still in Luray. Maggie, Sofia, Lizzie, Lilly, Maya and Sadie are my nieces, YES! all girls, and they are definitely a talented bunch of young ladies!

After high school, I went to Bridgewater College and majored in Biology with a concentration in secondary education.  I am in my 20th year of teaching and I have enjoyed it so much!  I taught nine years at Luray High School and eleven years at Centreville High School in Fairfax County. After a ten year hiatus, I decided to get back into coaching this year, cross country, it was so much fun plus it was awesome way to get in shape too!

On my snow days from school, I am working on online education classes, exercising and planning for our tropical wedding.

Groom

Hi, it is me, Christopher Mark Cash. I grew up in Rileyville, VA and then later moved to Fairfax County, where I graduated from Fairfax High School in 1988. I am the son of Linda Cash of Clifton, VA and Ron Cash of Fredrickburg, VA. I have four brothers Ron (who passed away when I was a freshman at Radford), Bob, Rich and Eric. I am a father of two, Tiffany Danielle Cash (21) and Carter Michael Cash (18), who attends Osbourne Park High School in Manassas, VA. I also have several nephews and nieces.

Some people may have heard me called by the name Mark or Chris. I will answer to both. Friends and family know Me as Mark and coworkers, colleagues, and any professional aquaintances know Me as Chris. I am indeed one in the same!

Since leaving Radford University in 1990, I continued my education by joining the IBEW Local 26. I graduated from the JATC and became a Journeyman Electrician in 1995. I have worked the past 25 years, for the IBEW, as a union electrician. For the past 8 of those years, I have worked for the IBEW/JATC as an instructor to train union electrical apprentices. I love to work with young people, as I coached youth sports for a good portion of my life. It only seems natural to continue this, as I get older, by working with adults that are interested in the electrical field. But enough about me......keep clicking!

Hidden Fact #1

Tammy has helped me raise my two kids for the past 13 years, as if they were her own. All those single parents out there know exactly what I am talking about when I tell you that it takes a special kind of person to help handle this responsibility. Having her in my life has been such a blessing and I do not know how I could have done it by myself. I do not even think Tammy knows just how much of an influence she has made in ALL of our lives. Thanks for just being you, all these years.

                                                          We love you!
