Bride

The question of the proposal had been brought up numerous times from numerous people inquiring about it and jokingly telling me I'd lose the best thing in my life if I didn't put a ring on it.  All the outside pressure aside, my heart knew it was time.  Sarah had planned a trip to Denver, CO to see her Denver Broncos take on my New York Giants.  I knew this would be the perfect opportunity to take advantage of the beautiful landscapes that Colorado has to offer and to ask Sarah to be my wife.  With the help of my dear friend, Paul, and the hospitality of he and his wife Katie (and their son, Hunter), we had the trip planned and I even had an idea of where and when I was going to pop the question.  To make things more special, Nancy and Dave Young were in town for their grandson, Hunter's birthday.  The only people who knew I was going to propose were Paul and myself.

Paul had given me directions to a state park not too far from their house and I had asked Sarah if she wanted to go explore it before we got the day started and headed to the game.  Needless to say, the location was exactly what I had envisioned and everything felt right.  The only thing more beautiful than the scenery that day was the woman I was asking to be my wife.

It was a perfect day, with the perfect woman.  I asked Sarah to marry me and she said yes.  In addition to having the woman of my dreams as my fianceé, and being with loved ones I hadn't seen in a while, my G-Men were able to pull out a win! It was the best day of my life!
