Wow!  After months of research, discussions and weighing of pros & cons, we are signing the wedding contract with Moon Palace Golf and Spa Resort. It's a done deal!  We chose this property for its elegance, beachfront scenery, and the option for family and friends to have a great vacation experience.

Returned to Impressions Bridal with Mama Charlotte, Raven and Sophie.  While trying on the reception dress, Mama Charlotte handed me a stunning necklace and earring set.  I put on the earrings while she fastened the necklace.  Everyone agreed that the jewelry was beautiful and a perfect complement to the dress!

Next, Raven and Mama Charlotte selected a couple of dresses to try on.  Raven decided on a color of dress but was unsure of the design.  Mama Charlotte fell in love with a black laced dress.  After discussing the colors of the peacock, she decided to have the dress designed in Royal blue.   A few minutes later she discovered an elegant Pearl necklace and earring set that accessorized the dress nicely.

It was time to enjoy our delicious champagne toast!  It was so delicious that Mama Charlotte said, "this is so good...I'm gonna serve it at your bridal shower!"  We ended our amazing girls day out in OKC with a delicious healthy lunch at Bravo Ilaliano!

We researched several resorts before deciding on Moon Palace Golf & Spa Resort.  After reading numerous reviews, listening to the feedback of a couple who had recently celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary at a Palace Resort, and after many discussions with the resort staff, we concluded that this resort was the ideal location for our wedding.

We look forward to celebrating, vacationing and creating a transformative experience with each of you in 2016!

Samarah (Guy's daughter) and Raven (Yvette's daughter) bond as sisters and help the couple finalize the wedding party: Samarah, Raven, Darryl Troupe and Keith Troupe. RJ (Yvette's son) will walk her down the isle. Sophia (Yvette's grand baby) and Braylon (Guy's great nephew) will be the Flower Girl and Ring Bearer respectively.

The second visit to Impressions bridal was with Raven and Mama Pat.  After trying on four wedding gowns we were torn between two of them.  After an hour of comparison, Mama Pat suggested purchasing both; one for the wedding ceremony and the other for the reception.  We all agreed that purchasing both dresses was the solution.  I was excited and relieved that I didn't have to choose!

It occured to me that in order to further justify getting both dresses, I would need to obtain a significant discount.  So, I negotiated a 50% discount on the reception dress!  Score...

We had so much fun that we failed to realize the boutique had been closed for over twenty minutes.  It also occurred to me that we had not been offered our champagne toast!  Moreover, I realized that something else was also missing.  It was Mama Charlotte's presence...

My 2nd time shopping for a wedding dress was at Immpressions Bridal in OKC.

My first time shopping for a wedding dress was at Soncy Westgate Parkway in Amarillo, Texas. I tried on two wedding gowns and looked at several bridesmaid dresses.  Our wedding colors were mint green and fuscia.

Exploring options in the Carolinas, Florida, California, Jamaica and Mexico.

Guy asked Yvette to "spend the rest of their lives" together while entertaining a few friends at his condo in Dallas. He placed his mother's wedding ring on her hand, explained their respective impact on his life, and vowed to love her as his mother taught him to love. She cried and he teases that he never heard her say yes.
