Almost 4 years ago my friend in DC was playing an April fools joke on her Facebook friends. She was pretending to be engaged. The joke lasted all day and included engagement photos and an engagement party. Finally I accepted the engagement and took the day off of work to go to her party. It was not until midnight that she broke the news, that she was just playing a joke. I told her that she still needed to throw the party since I had taken the day off of work to attend. She agreed and threw an "un engagement  party". I arrived at her neighborhood early before the party and stopped at a local bar to get a drink. It was there that I met the dapper Christian Harris. We were immediately taken by each other and I invited him to join me at my friend's  "un engagement party". He accepted my invitation and once at the party we were so comfortable together people were surprised to know we had just met.
