Derek worked with Christina's mother to plan a proposal that would be unexpected.  A family photoshoot with Christina and her parents was already planned, so it was decided that Derek would pop up at the photoshoot and propose.  As the photoshoot went on, the photographer did some solo shots of Christina.  It was then that Derek walked in with roses, got down on one knee, and proposed.  Crying and filled with joy Christina said yes!!!
