Having finished most of the renovations in our home, John's 40th birthday was approaching. We talked about having a party, going on vacation etc.. 3 weeks before his birthday, he said.. "I think I want to have a party". Of course, my event planning skills was put to the test!. That very night, invitations was sent out and the planning begun. The fastest theme I could have come up with was a Luau.

On November 12th, the day of the party, things were extremely hectic with vendors, entertainment and socializing. After the Luau dancers, we decided to cut the cake.. John insisted that he says a thank you to everyone. During his speech - which started off with some corny Jokes (I thought he was nervous) began to lighten up a bit and everyone was laughing. All of a sudden, during his speech, he asked me to marry him! Everyone started screaming, camera phones were whipped out and John got on one knee and asked again (Yes, i thought i didn't hear correctly the 1st time)....lol.. As you'll see in the pictures, my facial expression was priceless.

As most of you know, John and I didn't want to wait to have kids (for the obvious reasons), so we decided to get married in Boston with just our immediate family. In May 2018, we get to renew our vows and have the Union and celebration with every one of you!
