Meghan was visiting Adam and Ari in St. John's for Christmas. After 5 days together she was heading back to Ontario that afternoon. Adam decided they should get up and enjoy the sunrise together (their last in Newfoundland). They drove to Cape Spear which is the eastern-most point of North America. They climbed up to the lighthouse and were staring over the ocean as the sun rose and Adam reached into his camera bag to pull out a ring. He got down on one knee and asked Meghan to spend the rest of her life with him. She said Yes! (obviously) and the planning began! |
