Tom's proposal was in every sense of the word a "fairytale" come true!  Ireland was the perfect setting and the scene he set for 12 weeks prior to our arrival in Ireland was incredible. 

For those that don't know me well, my favorite movie is "P.S. I love you!"  It was filmed in Ireland and many people think it's sad because...well, the husband dies in the beginning of the movie.  What he did for his wife preparing for his death though is a true love story.  He made sure he helped her through the first year of the greiving process by leaving letters with her friends and family and they were instructed when to give them to her at certain times throughout this first year. 

Tom followed suit with this, in a different way, by passing out cards to friends and family that were given to me one each week for 12 weeks before we left for Ireland. Each card he wrote on started out with a new letter highighted in green (of course, because he is Irish). Which ultimately ended up spelling out "Will You Marry Me" and also each sentence that he started the letter with ultimately wrote out an entire letter to me.

The day after we arrived in Dublin, he had arranged for a private tour to take us to Wicklow National Park and the bridge that the couple from the movie had met on in Dublin   It was at that bridge that he gave me my last card and proposed!  A day and moment that is embedded into my mind and heart just like my love for him!
