Our Story
Jessica and Michael would first like to express sincere appreciation to all of their many friends and family who have helped them to be where we are today and are visiting our wedding website. We have had so much fun and experienced so much thus far in our journey. This love story started 7 years ago in the bluegrass state of Kentucky! We both were athlete/students at a private school the University of the Cumberlands in Williamsburg, KY. We both attended convocation classes every week. Mike said that he had his eye on me months before we ever spoke! The very first time I ever met him was at a wrestling match. Our first date was at pizza hut and then followed with taking a walk at the Cumberland Falls. I remember my birthday which was 13 days after we started dating that he left me a dozen of red roses in my car. After that it was pretty much history!
The day that he ask me to marry him July 8, 2009. This will be a day that I will never forget and is also why we have chosen to wed exactly 1 year later on the same day! He stardled me when I turned around while folding laundry and he was down on one knee with a little red box wrapped with a white ribbon:) I was extremly surprised and did not expect it to happen at the time that it did! No one can really explain how they feel when this day finally comes. You have so much joy but don't know how to express it without feeling like you will explode. Needless to say I said "Yes", after breaking down into tears for 10 minutes!
Mike and I share the same passion for a lot of things and one of those are living life to its fullest. While his passion is working hard and succeeding in everything he does, mine is also working hard and sharing my love with children. We both want to have our own children as well as adopt in the future. We see life as a chance to make a difference and that we will definetly do!
Our Wedding
We have chosen to have our special day at the Moon Palace Golf and Spa Resort in Cancun, Mexico. The ceremony will take place by the beautiful beach at sunset followed by fireworks and a beautiful candle lite dinner.
