Chris and I met on a blind date almost 2 years ago that was arranged by Chris' co-worker and a friend of mine from junior high school, whom are also cousins. Chris was new to St. Louis and the ladies wanted to find him a companion and get him acquanted with the new city. I was the first person that popped into their mind, thinking that our personalities would really complement one another. At first, I wasn't too keen on meeting him, but after months of coaxing me into going on a date with him, I finally gave in.
In early September, my friend sent an email inviting me to her birthday party stating to bring a date. I told her I wanted to attend, but I didn't have anyone to bring as a date. After another session of trying to persuade me into meeting Chris and telling me that her birthday party was the perfect opportunity, I finally gave in thinking, "I have to meet this guy and see what all of this persistancy is about!"
When we met for the first time at her birthday dinner, we hit it off INSTANTLY! Neither of us were looking for love, nevertheless looking to meet our soul mate and life-long partner! It's amazing how God works in such mysterious ways!
We've been inseperable ever since....
Our wedding ceremony will be held on Saturday, September 27, 2008 at John Knox Presbyterian Church located at 13200 New Halls Ferry Rd., Florissant, MO.
The wedding will begin promptly at 3:00 pm.
We will be having an Adult Cocktail Reception following the wedding ceremony at 5:30 pm. The reception is at Debonaire Banquet & Conference Center located at 3515 North Lindbergh Blvd. St. Ann, MO
Directions: Take Highway 70 West to Lindbergh South. Travel 1 mile down. As soon as you pass the Shell Gas Station on your right, Debonair Banquet Conference Center will be to your right, located next door to a bridal boutique.
The dress attire for the evening is semi-formal attire: cocktail dresses, pant suits, etc.
